Wayne Dyer wrote a series of readers for bilingual kids in Spanish and English. The first, “The Itty bitty Bear” introduced a cute green bear cub who struggled to learn how to roar.
The illustrations were done using various watercolor brushes and filters in Adobe Photoshop.

I wrote this hide and seek story as an exercise in highly detailed digital artwork. It features Charlie, a kid who has trouble keeping both feet on the ground as he is whisked away by his “Wild Imagination” into a series of exotic landscapes, where the reader has to find him and several other characters and objects in an interactive journey of hide-and-seek.

I created this animated mascot, “Bluey” to represent dissatisfied UN staff, with an olive tree “Olivia” representing management. Each video, which was accompanied by cartoons and comic strips, spoke to a theme of upcoming changes to make systems more user friendly for staff.
I animated using Animate Pro and Fountains of Wayne Keyboardist Steve Gold produced the sound and music.
The campaign was called “Change is Here” and short films and conics were sent out monthly to 50,000 UN staff worldwide.
Staff response to the campaign, and especially the character of Bluey, was overwhelmingly positive.
I am illustrating a set of cartoons for ridiculous, but still current laws, state by state soon to be published serially in my upcoming “Dumb Laws” Blog.
I have illustrated several editorial caricatures of celebrities and politicians.
I designed an animated cartoon mascot character and created several hand animated short films for the UN as part of an internal communications campaign, sent out to 50,000 UN staff worldwide.
I also created a comic strip for an accounting services online publication.
I illustrated tens of storyboards, while working at Studio Designs, fo agencies such as Y&R, JWT, Amarati & Puris and McCann’s to successfully pitch accounts including M&M’s, Dr Pepper, Ray Bann’s, Delta Airlines and Bell Atlantic.
Fantasy art has ever been high on my list of creative interests, and over the decades I have produced pieces for commission, kids’ books and self promotion. See more in my GALLERY under fantasy art.
